Shiqi Luo is a New York–based violinist, artistic programmer, and arts
curator whose work bridges performance, artistic planning, and
interdisciplinary development. Known for her expressive tone and narrative-
driven approach, she views music as a form of storytelling that connects
sound with imagery, structure, and collaborative expression.
A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Shiqi combines a strong
classical foundation with a forward-looking artistic vision. Beyond
performance, she is actively engaged in the conceptualization,
development, and promotion of concert programs, recordings, and cross-
disciplinary projects. Her work centers on shaping cohesive artistic
identities, from program design to audience experience, while exploring
innovative formats that expand classical music to broader and younger
audiences. Her debut album Le Papillon reflects this vision, presenting a
unified musical narrative inspired by themes of fragility, resilience, and
renewal.
In 2026, she joined Skillman Records as a Catalog Manager, overseeing
catalog development, release coordination, and content strategy across
recording projects.
She has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician at venues including
Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and has participated in international
festivals and cultural events across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Shiqi is the founder and artistic director of the Sunway Music Foundation,
where she leads artistic programming, production strategy, and long-term
creative development, with a focus on supporting emerging artists and
building a dynamic contemporary classical music platform.
