Artist Relation | Head of Asia

With a decade of experience as a prominent musician and producer in the New York region, Qianci Liu possesses exceptional project execution skills and a sophisticated mastery of international resource integration. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Paulus Hook Music Foundation, the New York Big Apple Music Festival, and the New York International Symphony Orchestra. Beyond her artistic expertise, she has demonstrated formidable professional acumen in arts management, successfully organizing large-scale international events at world-class venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center involving global icons like Lang Lang and Randall Goosby.
Qianci has extensive practical experience in managing diplomatic relations, collaborations with prestigious academic institutions, and A-list talent coordination. She notably served as the Concert Producer and Artistic Director for the China Media Group (CMG) "United as One World Voices of Peace" Film Music Concert at Lincoln Center. Furthermore, she produced the "Golden Bell Laureates" Chinese New Year Concert at Carnegie Hall, a flagship collaboration hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM). These high-profile productions underscore her leadership in elite cultural programming and large-scale media production.
Her influence within the international diplomatic and media sectors is equally significant. Frequently commissioned by the Chinese Consulate General in New York and the Permanent Mission of China to the UN, she produced the "Echoes Across the Ocean" China-U.S. Songfest and served as the Music Director for the UN Chinese Language Day, where she successfully managed the appearances of major talent including pop star Zhou Shen and American singer Aaron Scarberry. Her standing in the United Nations community was further highlighted by her production of a major collaborative performance featuring the UN Symphony Orchestra and UN Singers at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium—a project filmed by UN News and featured in the documentary "UN Post-80s," a joint production by the Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and the United Nations.
Complementing her commercial and production success, Qianci integrates the arts with social impact, serving as the producer for the annual "Echo of Love" charity concert series for Good Grief and directing programs for the Sinovision Lunar New Year Gala. With an academic foundation in classical cello performance spanning the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Manhattan School of Music, she possesses extensive experience as a soloist, orchestral musician, and recording artist. This profound artistic background, combined with a deep understanding of the entire music industry value chain and the Asian market, makes her a cornerstone of Skillman Records’ global initiatives. Her pragmatic leadership and extensive network of high-level industry contacts continue to drive the label’s international vision and cross-cultural growth.
